Stop smoking The issue of smoking is a problem that’s occurring in America. Smoking is a deadly killer that has taken many loved ones, it causes issues when it is inhaled into the human body and causes certain types of diseases. Many people are dying due to the chemicals in cigarettes unfortunately, but there are ways we can stop this and with the help of the students here we can start doing this immediately. Smoking is the inhalation of the smoke from burning tobacco encased in cigarettes, pipes, and cigars. The main cause of smoking is to advertisements, celebrities, peer pressure and to relieve stress. Most people who start smoking, usually begin in their teen years, in high school, where they’re pressured to be accepted into a group, and that is where the addiction begins. Advertisements promote smoking causing for more people to become addicted, so the companies who make cigarettes can get rich while poisoning their customers. These organizations call it a stress reliever, but they never tell the customer what is really in them. Celebrities who smoke also have a huge impact in our society today.
